Detailed description

The Rebelcell 42V/20A NMC lithium-ion charger (WC42V20REUA) is suitable for the separately sold Rebelcell 36V75 BT battery. The battery’s exact page and manual recommend the 42V20A charger and allow up to 35A charging current. This charger has M8 ring terminals and a CC/CV profile with automatic shut-off. Verify chemistry, polarity and terminals before connection; do not use it with the 36V105 EDGE LiFePO4 battery, which requires 43.8V.

The manufacturer specifies an IP65 housing, not for immersion, to be installed away from standing water with airflow for its cooling fan. Nominal net weight is 2.8kg ±0.3kg; Shopify does not use the 4kg packaged weight. Dimensions are 232 × 137 × 76mm with handle. This is the charger alone: battery and propulsion wiring are not included.

Which battery can this charger charge?

The Rebelcell 36V75 BT NMC battery expressly recommends the WC42V20REUA 42V/20A IP65 lithium-ion charger. Both use M8 terminals and 20A is below the battery’s 35A charging limit. The battery is sold separately.

Can it charge a 36V105 EDGE LiFePO4 battery?

No. The 36V105 EDGE LiFePO4 requires 43.8V and its WC43V20REUA charger. This is a 42V NMC lithium-ion charger, not the 43.8V LiFePO4 charger.

What is the charging profile?

The manufacturer specifies 42V CC/CV lithium-ion charging at up to 20A with automatic shut-off. Check the battery chemistry, polarity, M8 terminals and instructions before connecting.

How long will 36V75 BT charging take?

No fixed time is stated here: the current battery page says 5–6 hours, while its exact manual says 4–5 hours. Actual time also depends on initial charge and conditions.
