The CA-ELI-RS422-3M, SBG reference 100-0778, connects the MAIN port of an Ellipse in B1 version to communicate over RS-422. Compatibility with the Ellipse-A Marine 100-2489 has been confirmed by SBG.
Fixed length 3 m, UP01L07 M010S BK1 Z2ZB connector and bare-wire termination. Net weight 77 g. Documentation specifies a waterproof cable, but does not allow exposed bare terminations.
On MAIN B1, the red and black wires provide access to VIN and GND; this cable therefore allows power and serial signal connection. It does not include a USB port or USB/RS-422 converter, nor does it constitute an Ethernet link. Since the MAIN B2 pinout differs, do not assume the RS-422 function of MAIN B1 applies to MAIN B2.
Protection, DC power supply, acquisition converter, and enclosure must be sized according to the installation and are not included. Price on quotation.
