Designed for enhanced visibility and control, the Simrad NSX 3015UW is a 15-inch ultrawide multifunction display (MFD). It consolidates multiple displays into a single immersive unit, optimizing dashboard aesthetics. This MFD integrates a chartplotter, depth sounder, and GPS receiver, providing a complete navigation solution.
Display and User Interface
The NSX 3015UW features a 15-inch SolarMAX™ IPS HD touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 720 pixels and brightness exceeding 1000 nits. Viewing angles of 85° (top, bottom, left, right) ensure readability in various conditions. The Simrad® operating system is characterized by an intuitive interface, a customizable activity bar, and configurable instrument panels.
Connectivity and System Integration
This MFD offers extensive connectivity including Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n), a 5-pin Ethernet port, a MicroSD slot, and a USB port. NMEA 2000 integration via a Micro-C port enables communication with various marine equipment. The NSX 3015UW fully supports Simrad 3G, 4G, and HALO® radars, as well as NAC-1, NAC-2, NAC-3, and NAC-D autopilots. It also integrates with Mercury®, Honda, and Suzuki engines, CZone® digital switching, RGBW lighting, and IP cameras.
Navigation and Sonar
The Simrad NSX 3015UW is equipped with an internal 10Hz GPS receiver and a 9-pin 1kW Xsonic transducer port, compatible with CHIRP single-channel, 50/200 kHz, HDI, and Active Imaging technologies. It supports C-MAP® DISCOVER™ X charts (included for North America) and is compatible with REVEAL™ X, CMOR Mapping, Florida Marine Tracks, StrikeLines, and Standard Mapping. The system can store 6,000 waypoints, 500 routes (up to 100 points each), and 50 tracks (up to 12,000 points), with a fast auto-routing function. This model is supplied without a transducer.
