Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for demanding marine environments, the Ultraflex 7 coaxial cable provides a robust and high-performance connectivity solution. This cable features an optimized construction, including an inner conductor made of 19 strands of 0.38 mm copper wire, totaling a diameter of 1.9 mm ± 0.15. The dielectric is a high-pressure physical injection of expanded polyethylene, structured in a triple layer with an overall diameter of 5 mm ± 0.05, ensuring stable insulation.
Shielding and Attenuation
The Ultraflex 7 cable’s shielding is designed to minimize signal loss and interference. It incorporates a copper foil with a PE layer, ensuring 100% shielding and preventing cracks due to short bending radii. The braid, made with 144 copper wires across 24 spool machines (compared to the usual 16), offers 50% more crossings, delivering exceptional shielding effectiveness (SA) of over 105 dB between 100 and 2000 MHz, classified as A++. This design ensures a stable impedance of 50 Ohm ± 3 at 200 MHz.
Durability and Compatibility
The black UV-resistant PVC outer jacket, with a total diameter of 7.3 mm ± 0.15, ensures long-term outdoor performance. The Ultraflex 7 cable supports a temperature range from -40°C to +60°C and has a minimum bending radius of 68 mm for multiple bends or 34 mm for a single bend, facilitating installation. Its maximum power capacity is 8,000 watts. It is compatible with a wide range of standard connectors, including UHF (PL), N, BNC, SMA, and TNC. The attenuation at 144 MHz is 6.9 dB/100m, with a power capacity of 629 W at 40°C, positioning it as a high-performance alternative to RG-58 or RG-213 cables for applications requiring better signal integrity over longer distances. This product is manufactured in compliance with IEC 46-1, EN 50117, IEC EN 50289, R118 (ISO7622-1), IEC 60332-1-2, and CPR305/11 (EN50575:2014).
