Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for fish detection and detailed bathymetry, the XSONIC Airmar B175H-W (12°) is a 1 kW through-hull CHIRP High-Wide transducer. It operates on a high-frequency band from 150 to 250 kHz with a constant 25° beam, providing coverage under the boat twice that of traditional narrow-beam transducers. This transducer integrates fast-response depth and water temperature sensors.
Advanced CHIRP Performance
The XSONIC Airmar B175H-W (12°) is optimized for CHIRP systems, delivering superior resolution and improved target separation for sharp, precise sonar images. Its ability to cover a wide 100 kHz bandwidth allows detection of fish in the water column with high detail, making this model suitable for coastal and pelagic fishing. It can reach a maximum depth of 152 meters (500 feet).
Installation and Compatibility
Featuring a bronze housing, this transducer is recommended for fiberglass or wooden hulls and requires a 95 mm (3-3/4 inch) mounting hole. Its 12° tilted element compensates for hull deadrise angles between 8° and 15°, ensuring the sonar beam is directed vertically for maximum echo returns. It is ideal for vessels up to 11 meters (36 feet) and comes with a 10-meter (33-foot) cable and a 9-pin XSONIC connector for integration with Navico systems (Simrad/Lowrance). The Xducer ID® technology enables automatic sounder configuration and includes continuous monitoring of ceramic operating temperature.
