The award-winning 50-foot bluewater Oyster
TheOyster 495 is the smallest model in the Oyster Yachts range. It is also the first model designed since the yard was acquired by Richard Hadida in 2018. The first example afloat in 2022 was namedEuropean Yacht of the Year 2023 in the Luxury Cruiser category.
Architecture
Hull designed byHumphreys Yacht Design (Rob and Tom Humphreys) in collaboration with Oyster’s in-house design studio. Advanced platform based on the Humphreys G6 hull form: vertical bow, wide beam carried far aft, twin rudders. Designed for offshore cruising with a small crew (couple or family).
Construction
Built in Wroxham (Norfolk, UK), Oyster’s historic site revived in 2018 after the yard’s restart under Hadida.
