Detailed description
The ELECTROAIR KU03 2 x 12 AWG cable is sold by the meter. It consists of two flexible tinned-copper conductors, each insulated in ETFE, then assembled as a white/blue pair.
The KU03 has no braided shield or common outer jacket. Each conductor has a cross-section of 3.09 mm² (12 AWG, 37 x 0.32 mm). The pair measures 5.58 to 5.98 mm in outer diameter, with an approximate linear mass of 71 kg/km.
Rated voltage: 600 V RMS. Continuous operating temperature: -55 °C to +150 °C. Built to NF C 93-524; flame resistance IEC 60332-1, C2 NF C 32-070, and FAR 25.
This lightweight cable is intended by the manufacturer for wiring embedded electronic equipment. As it has no common outer jacket, its routing must be protected against abrasion, pinching, and other mechanical damage. Do not confuse it with the shielded and jacketed KU05 versions.
