Detailed description
Detailed description
ELECTROAIR KU 01 wiring cable, 1 conductor 14 AWG (1.91 mm²) tinned copper, ETFE insulation, unshielded. Sold by the meter.
What ETFE changes
Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene operates continuously from −55 °C to +150 °C and resists hydrocarbons, solvents and moisture. This is the wire you install where standard PVC hardens then cracks: engine compartment, near an exhaust, damp bilge. Trade-off: it is stiffer than PVC — consider this for tight-radius runs.
Aeronautical origin
The KU 01 range is an electronic-equipment wire for aircraft, compliant with NF C 93-524. Here that translates to a finely stranded conductor (37 strands of 0.25 mm, so flexible despite the cross-section) and proven fire resistance.
