The Minn Kota Riptide Instinct QUEST positions itself as an electric bow-thrust propulsion solution for demanding saltwater anglers. It delivers thrust capacities of 90/115 lb and 24/36V compatibility. The 100-inch (254 cm) shaft is one of its key features.

Integrated features such as Spot-Lock, AutoPilot, Power Steering, and One-Boat Network compatibility are key to this model. They enable precise boat control, essential for holding position on a fishing spot or hands-free navigation.

Installation is bolted to the bow. It is critical to plan the mounting location with sufficient clearances for stowage and deployment of the shaft and control head, as specified in the manufacturer’s guidelines. Adding a Minn Kota quick-release elbow can simplify installation and removal for maintenance or transport. While it does not include built-in sonar, its integration with the One-Boat Network allows pairing with other compatible equipment for a complete electronics suite.
