Minn Kota RIPTIDE INSTINCT QUEST - WHITE - 90/115 lbs - 24/36V - 182 cm

The Minn Kota Riptide Instinct QUEST is a bow-mount motor designed for demanding saltwater anglers seeking precise boat control and durable performance. Its ability to deliver up to 90/115 lb of thrust, powered by a 24/36V system, makes it suitable for a wide range of fishing vessels.

In terms of integration, this motor is compatible with the One-Boat Network, enabling advanced control via the provided wireless remote, an optional foot pedal, the One-Boat Network app, or a compatible Humminbird unit. Its advanced GPS trolling system is a major asset, offering features such as Spot-Lock with Jog for precise station-keeping with micro-adjustments, and Drift mode for effective directional control in current or wind. The ability to record and retrace fishing paths or plot a route on a Humminbird screen optimizes fishing strategies.

The installation is bow-mount with bolted attachment. It is essential to account for the necessary clearances for the 72-inch (182 cm) shaft and control head during mounting. Adding a Minn Kota quick-release elbow can simplify mounting and dismounting for maintenance or transport. The Auto Stow/Deploy and Power Trim functions offer great convenience, allowing the motor to be stowed, deployed, and trimmed without effort, with a simple button press. The power steering ensures immediate responsiveness for precise boat positioning.

Durability is enhanced by its "indestructible" composite shaft with a lifetime warranty, reinforced frame and bracket to withstand high-torque motor stresses and long shafts, and improved sealing to prevent saltwater intrusion into critical components. The absence of integrated sonar means users seeking this functionality will need to opt for an external solution, but this allows greater flexibility in transducer selection. Real-time battery level and remaining time display, coupled with Digital Maximizer, ensures efficient energy management.
