During installation, ensure the area beneath the mounting location is flat and clear for drilling and installing nuts and washers.

The RTA-17 mount’s locking handle can be secured with a 1/4" short-shackle padlock (not included), providing additional security. Note that this mount is not intended for 112 lbs thrust motors or those with a 72” or longer shaft.
