SE60 24 V bow thruster, 60 kg, 185 mm tunnel

The Sleipner SE60/185S2-24V thruster is a reliable manoeuvring solution for mid-sized monohulls and catamarans, typically between 9 and 12 meters. Its ability to deliver significant thrust (up to 73 kg at 24V) makes it suitable for harbour situations or crosswind conditions where precise control is essential. The Q-Prop™ propeller is a major asset, particularly appreciated by boaters sensitive to acoustic comfort, reducing noise signature during manoeuvres. This is a notable differentiating factor compared to models fitted with standard propellers.

From an installation standpoint, the 90-degree motor rotation flexibility and the option to mount at different angles in the tunnel greatly simplify integration in sometimes tight spaces. Quick-access terminals and "plug-and-go" wiring contribute to efficient deployment, minimizing installation time. The galvanic protection of submerged parts is an important feature for equipment longevity in a marine environment, preventing costly electrolytic corrosion issues. The IPC (Intelligent Power Control) system provides intelligent power management, extending the service life of mechanical components and improving operational safety.

This model is a judicious choice for boat owners seeking high-performance, durable piloting assistance without the complex installation constraints or noise compromises found in other systems. It is essential to validate sizing, voltage, and installation with a professional to ensure optimal performance and compatibility with the boat's electrical system.
