About Us — Skysat, Marine Electronics in Carnac

Skysat (legal name: Sky Satellites System) is a French marine electronics company based in Carnac, Brittany — not to be confused with the Earth-observation satellite constellation of the same name. Three trades under one roof: an installation workshop, an engineering department, and an online store designed like a technical encyclopedia. Over twenty years of hands-on experience, more than 200 equipped sailboats.
What we do
Install. Autopilots, navigation displays, lithium banks, satellite communication: our workshop in Carnac equips cruising sailboats and racing yachts, either directly or via our network of approved installers across France.
Design. The engineering department sizes installations before opening a single box: energy balance, NMEA 2000 architecture, brand compatibility. This is the invisible part that makes an installation seaworthy.
Document. Our online catalog is not a mere store: each product page is crafted like a technical datasheet — verified specs, signed workshop reviews, comparators and guides written by people who actually install the gear.
What we don't do
We do not sell a product that doesn’t fit your program, even if it’s in stock. We do not promise “plug-and-play” when the reality aboard requires proper sizing. And when a technology is oversold by marketing, our guides say so — the house rule: technical honesty before commercial pitch.
Brands we work with
B&G, Raymarine, Garmin, Lowrance, Simrad, Furuno, Victron Energy, Airmar, Iridium, Starlink, Pixel sur Mer, Madintec — both as distributor and installer. We distribute several competing brands, which lets us compare freely: our comparators stand by their verdicts.
