The Ocean Fifty yard in Médoc, successor to Lalou Multi
Neo Sailing Technologies (NST) is based in Talais, in the Médoc region (Gironde). The yard is the evolution ofLalou Multi, a structure founded in 2007 by skipper Lalou Roucayrol. The rebranding to NST was officially announced at Grand Pavois in September 2023, with Fabienne Baron as president and Quentin Vlamynck as technical and sports director.
Three divisions: Racing, Lab, Academy
NST builds and prepares racing yachts (Ocean Fifty, Figaro 3, Mini 6.50) for its own team and for third parties. The Lab division works on recyclable composites; the Academy division trains for offshore racing. The construction ofEdenred (launched in July 2025) reused all platform molds from previous yards — a choice presented as good industrial practice.
Three Ocean Fifty yachts built in twelve years
NST has delivered three Ocean Fifty yachts (formerly Multi50) — representing, as of mid-2025, nearly a third of the class (11 yachts in total):
Noir Désir (2013) — later renamed Arkema, skippered by Lalou Roucayrol then Quentin Vlamynck
Kraken (2020)
Edenred (July 2025) — designed by Romaric Neyhousser, skippered by Basile Bourgnon and Emmanuel Le Roch
