Arthur Le Vaillant is an atypical skipper in the offshore racing scene. Originally from La Rochelle, he distinguishes himself by an approach where sporting performance is never separated from ecological commitment. Versatile, he excels in all types of boats, from windsurfing to Class40, and up to the giants of the Ultim category.
His remarkable achievement with Skysat:
During the Route du Rhum 2022, he took on an immense technical and human challenge: to lead the legendary trimaran Mieux (formerly Geronimo / Sodebo), one of the oldest and heaviest in the fleet, across the Atlantic. With express preparation, he finished in a superb 6th place, proving that with skill and reliable technique, historic boats still have a say.

ULTIM (Giant Multihulls)
6th - Route du Rhum 2022: On the trimaran Mieux. An exploit given the boat's age (ex-Geronimo) and the short preparation time. It was on this race that he validated Skysat's expertise.
CLASS40 (12m Monohulls)
2nd - Transat Jacques Vabre 2019: As a duo with Sam Goodchild on Leyton.
4th - Route du Rhum 2018: On Leyton. He finished just off the podium after an intense race.
2nd - Transat Jacques Vabre 2017: As a duo with Aymeric Chappellier on Aïna Enfance & Avenir.
3rd - Grand Prix Guyader 2019: On Leyton.
