H60 wireless combined unit for V60 VHF, DSC

The B&G H60 handset for VHF V60 W/L, DSC is a wireless remote station designed exclusively for the VHF V60 radio. It offers complete onboard mobility by replicating all the functionalities of the main station, allowing communication and monitoring of safety data from the cockpit, flybridge or anywhere on deck.

Total control and mobility on board

Thanks to a wireless connection with a range of 100 meters from the V60 base station, the H60 handset ensures reliable communication throughout the vessel. It allows users to make calls, browse channels, and activate Digital Selective Calling (DSC). An intercom function is integrated for communicating with the base station or a second handset. The V60 VHF station can support up to two H60 handsets simultaneously.

Robust design for the marine environment

Built to withstand marine conditions, the H60 is IPX7 waterproof certified, withstanding immersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. It recharges wirelessly via the included charging pad, eliminating physical connectors and maximizing its water resistance. The integrated battery provides up to 8 hours of operating time. It measures 180 x 65 x 38 mm and weighs 260 g.

Safety and navigation features

Once paired with the V60 VHF radio, the H60 handset becomes a complete safety tool. It displays AIS targets transmitted by the base station and uses its integrated GPS receiver for positioning data. The system includes the Track Buddy function to monitor the position of up to five friendly vessels and features a dedicated MOB (Man Overboard) function to trigger an alert in case of an emergency.
