Detailed description

The B&G Nemesis navigation data display is a customizable instrument available in 9-inch and 12-inch versions. It displays network data, mounted on the mast or in the cockpit. It is intended for racers and navigators who monitor their performance in real time.

Display

The Nemesis features a SolarMax™ HD multi-touch IPS touchscreen, readable in full sunlight and with polarized sunglasses. It offers 80° viewing angles in all directions. Brightness is 1300 nits for the 9-inch model and 1500 nits for the 12-inch model. Resolutions are 1280x720 pixels (9") and 1280x800 pixels (12"). Unlike a multifunction display like the B&G Zeus, the Nemesis is dedicated to data visualization.

Customization and control

This display allows you to customize dashboards using a drag-and-drop editor. You can use predefined templates from B&G or create your own displays by combining graphic gauges, SailSteer™ view, tank levels, numerical data, or performance histograms. Automatic context modes switch the display based on the sailboat’s point of sail (close-hauled, beam reach, running, pre-start). The display can be controlled remotely from an Apple Watch®.

Integration and technical specifications

The Nemesis display has Ethernet connectivity (100 Mbit), NMEA 2000 (via a Micro-C port), and Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n). It operates on 12V or 24V DC (range: 10 to 31.2 V DC).
