Detailed description
Detailed description
The B&G radar cable is the interconnection solution specifically designed for Halo series radar antennas and Nemesis mast displays. It ensures both power supply and high-speed Ethernet data transmission, essential for the proper functioning of these advanced systems. As an original Navico part, this cable guarantees perfect compatibility and optimal signal integrity, preventing data loss or electromagnetic interference that could degrade radar performance.
Designed for B&G Halo and Nemesis Radars
This cable is the only compatible model for connecting your B&G Halo radome or beam antenna (all generations included) or your Nemesis mast display to your network. Its shielding and construction are specifically designed to support the high data rates of pulse compression and target tracking technologies, ensuring a clear and stable radar image. Unlike standard Ethernet cables, it integrates the necessary power conductors and waterproof connectors suitable for the marine environment.
Installation Flexibility with Multiple Lengths
To adapt to all boat sizes and mounting constraints, the B&G radar cable is available in four lengths: 5, 10, 20, and 30 meters. This range allows for a clean and professional installation, whether on a mast, a radar arch, or a hardtop mount. It is advisable to choose the most appropriate length to avoid superfluous cable loops, which can be a potential source of interference.
