Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for precise energy management, the M2 DC Multimeter with SoC 1830 from BLUE SEA SYSTEMS is an OLED digital monitor that measures current, voltage, and state of charge (SoC) of batteries. It differs from the 1832 (ammeter) and 1833 (voltmeter) models in the same M2 OLED range by its ability to provide complete state-of-charge monitoring for a battery, while measuring the voltage of up to three battery banks and the current of one bank.
Measurement and Display Capabilities
This multimeter integrates a self-dimming 55 mm x 28 mm OLED screen, offering a 0.01V DC resolution and ± 1.0% accuracy for voltage. It operates on a 7V to 70V DC power range, compatible with 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V systems. Current is measured over a range of -500A to 500A with the included 500A shunt, with programmable capacity up to 5000A via external shunts. Power consumption ranges from 0.3W to 1.0W.
Features and System Integration
The M2 DC Multimeter with SoC 1830 is equipped with 80dB (or 92dB depending on source) audible alarms for high current, high/low voltage, and low battery thresholds. An isolated 500mA MOSFET relay is included for activating external circuits. The device is protected against powerful water jets (IP66) on its front face when mounted according to instructions. It enables continuous monitoring of state of charge, recording values every 15 minutes and restoring them after a power outage.
