Designed for demanding marine environments, the FUSION Signature 3i Series 7.7-inch (010-02772-00) coaxial speakers deliver clear, immersive audio. Part of Garmin’s Signature 3i range, these speakers are optimized for integration with Fusion stereo and amplifier systems, featuring customizable DSP profiles via the Fusion-Link app. They serve as an intermediate size option in the series, positioned between the 6.5-inch models (230W max / 75W RMS) and the 8.8-inch models (330W max / 130W RMS), offering a balance between compactness and audio power.
Audio performance and marine design
These 7.7-inch speakers deliver a maximum power of 280 watts and an RMS power of 100 watts, with a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. Their frequency response ranges from 60 Hz to 22 kHz, ensuring detailed sound reproduction. Sensitivity is 91 dB (1W/1m). The CURV® cone technology with rubber surround and silk dome tweeter contribute to sound clarity. For marine durability, the speakers are True-Marine certified and feature IP65 protection, shielding them from dust and low-pressure water jets. Their design includes water-resistant connectors for simplified installation and enhanced protection against salt corrosion.
Integration and installation
The FUSION Signature 3i Series speakers are designed to operate within a temperature range of 0 to 50°C. The minimum mounting depth required is 86 mm (3 7/16 in) and the mounting diameter is 156 mm (6 1/8 in). The safe distance for the compass is 358 cm (141 in), minimizing electromagnetic interference with navigation instruments. The Signature 3i series also offers models with CRGBW LED lighting, though this specific model (010-02772-00) does not include it. The LED power supply voltage (for compatible models) is 10.8 to 16 Vdc with a maximum load current of 300 mA at 14.4 Vdc. These speakers comply with CE, WEEE, RoHS, and REACH certifications, meeting European environmental and safety standards. Audio connectivity is via Amphenol AT Series AT 2-way connectors.
