Designed for compatible Garmin chartplotters, the BlueChart® g3 HXEU013R marine chart covers the southwest regions of Italy and Tunisia. This electronic charting solution is provided on a microSD™/SD™ card, simplifying installation and use for navigation, fishing, and cruising.
Detailed coverage and integrated data
The BlueChart® g3 HXEU013R integrates Garmin and Navionics® data, offering detailed coverage of the specified areas. It includes the Italian coast from Isola d'Ischia, south to Reggio Calabria, and northeast to Brindisi, encompassing Sicily and the southern part of Sardinia. Coverage extends to the African coast from Béjaïa Bay in Algeria to Banghazi in Libya. This mapping provides contours down to 0.3 meters (1 foot) for precise representation of seafloor structure, a key asset for fishing and navigation in various marine environments. The high-resolution depth shading feature displays up to 10 depth ranges, enabling quick identification of target areas.
Advanced navigation features
The chart integrates Auto Guidance technology, which calculates a suggested route based on desired depth and vertical clearance, displaying a clear path directly on your chart. This feature aims to reduce travel time while improving safety. Shallow-water shading allows custom depth settings to highlight and avoid low-draft zones. NOAA raster mapping is available for free download via the ActiveCaptain® app, providing paper-chart-style views of NOAA-surveyed areas with labeled points of interest. High-resolution satellite imagery is also included, overlaying realistic views of the environment onto navigation charts to aid orientation in unfamiliar waters.
