It is supplied on a ready-to-use microSD™/SD™ card for compatible chartplotters.
Detailed Coverage and Updates
The NSEU643L chart covers the Azores, Madeira, the Canary Islands, Gibraltar, the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Malta, Crete, Cyprus, the Dardanelles, the Bosphorus, the Sea of Azov, the Dnieper River up to the Kyivs'ke Reservoir, and the Danube up to Passau in Germany. It also includes major inland lakes such as Lake Balaton, Lake Garda, Lake Como, and Lake Maggiore. Detailed information is available for numerous ports, including Cádiz, Barcelona, Monaco, Marseille, Toulon, Genoa, Naples, Taranto, Venice, Istanbul, Odessa, Tunis, and Algiers.
A one-year subscription is included, providing access to daily updates via the ActiveCaptain® app. Up to 5,000 updates are performed daily, ensuring up-to-date chart information.
Advanced Navigation Features
The Auto Guidance+ technology calculates a suggested waypoint-to-waypoint route, simplifying navigation through channels and marina entrances by combining Garmin’s and Navionics’ automatic routing capabilities. This feature is intended for planning and does not replace attentive navigation. The Depth Range Shading function allows visualization of up to 10 colored depth range options to easily identify target depths. Contours with a precision of 0.5 meters (1 foot) detail the seabed structure, useful for fishing and navigating complex areas. The Shallow Water Shading feature lets you set a specific depth to shade shallow waters, providing a visual warning of areas to avoid. The ActiveCaptain® community enhances the chart with points of interest (POIs) such as marinas, anchorages, and hazards. The display is customizable with map layers and overlay combinations. The interface uses a Navionics® color palette for clear readability.
