Designed for boaters navigating Sweden’s lakes and rivers, Garmin Navionics+ inland waterway charts provide detailed mapping and advanced features for navigation and fishing. This product combines Garmin and Navionics data to ensure comprehensive coverage of inland waterways, including lakes Vänern, Vättern, Siljan, the Göta and Trollhätte canals, and the Dalälven river.
Advanced navigation features
These charts are supplied on a microSD card, ensuring compatibility with Garmin GPSMAP and Echomap chartplotters that support this format. The integration of Garmin and Navionics data delivers clarity and precise detail, with an updated color palette and Navionics-style appearance.
The Auto Guidance+™ technology calculates a suggested route from dock to dock based on desired depth and air clearance, displaying the general route and nearby obstructions. This feature is intended for planning purposes and does not replace safe navigation practices. The depth shading function allows selection of up to 10 depth range bands to highlight target areas, aiding navigation and identification of fishing zones.
Bathymetric details and updates
Contours down to 1 foot provide a representation of the seabed structure for improved fishing chart accuracy and enhanced detail in shallow areas, canals, ports, and marinas. The shallow water shading feature allows shading of a user-defined depth to clearly indicate shallow areas to avoid. A one-year subscription to daily updates is included, accessible via the ActiveCaptain® app, with a discounted renewal option.
The ActiveCaptain® community contributes useful points of interest (POI), such as marinas, anchorages, hazards, and businesses, along with recommendations from other boaters. The Plotter Sync function enables wireless transfer of routes, markers, and chart updates between the chartplotter and the mobile app.
