Designed for open marine environments, the JL Audio M6-770ETXv3-Sb-S-GmTi-i 7.7-inch coaxial marine tower speakers deliver high-performance audio for nautical applications. These speaker systems are engineered to withstand harsh marine conditions while integrating RGB LED lighting for visual customization.

Marine Audio Performance

The JL Audio M6-770ETXv3 coaxial speakers are 2-way systems featuring a 7.7-inch (196 mm) woofer and a 1.00-inch (25 mm) silk dome tweeter specifically treated to resist UV exposure and salt fog. They handle a continuous RMS power of 100 Watts and are compatible with amplifiers delivering between 40 and 200 Watts per channel. The system has a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms, with a frequency response of 45 Hz to 25 kHz (± 3 dB) and a sensitivity of 91 dB @ 1 W / 1 m. The motor is optimized by JL Audio’s DMA (Dynamic Motor Analysis) system for reduced distortion and linear performance, ensuring accurate bass. The woofer features a long-throw design with an injection-molded polypropylene cone loaded with mica and a synthetic rubber surround formulated with UV inhibitors. A passive 2-way crossover with a semiconductor tweeter protection circuit ensures balanced sound reproduction.

Marine-Grade Design and Durability

The speaker construction is designed for saltwater marine environments. It uses UV- and corrosion-resistant polymer baskets and grilles. The speakers undergo rigorous testing, including UV chamber and salt fog exposure. The enclosure finish is matte black, complemented by a titanium sport grille. Speaker dimensions are 8.74 inches (222 mm) in diameter and 12.67 inches (322 mm) in depth.

Integrated RGB LED Lighting

The models include Transflective™ RGB LED lighting with patent-pending technology that diffuses a uniform light effect through the woofer cone. Users can select from seven fixed colors or use an optional lighting controller (sold separately) for active color and intensity control. A separate 12V wiring is required for the LED illumination function. LED current draw is 324 mA at 12V DC with a recommended 500 mA fuse.

Installation and Accessories

Installation of these speakers requires the use of JL Audio mounting brackets (sold separately). Speaker wiring is routed through the center of the mounting brackets, keeping connections protected and out of sight. A decorative aluminum logo cap is located at the opposite end of the speaker and can be oriented to suit the mounting application. Included items are two aluminum logo caps, a tube of silicone adhesive, eight red butt connectors (#22-18 AWG), and four blue butt connectors (#16-14 AWG).
