Its design allows for 14 mm linear excursion (Xmax), ensuring dynamic response even at high sound levels.

Marine-grade construction and durability

This subwoofer is specifically engineered for marine environments, using corrosion- and UV-resistant materials. It features a polymer basket, UV-resistant grille, and marine-grade gold-plated brass terminals. The marine-grade synthetic fiber spider enhances robustness. The JL Audio M6-8IB-S-GmTi-i-4 exceeds international standards for salt fog and UV exposure, ensuring extended longevity. Production of this M6 series is carried out at JL Audio’s factory in Miramar, Florida.
