Detailed description
Detailed description
The MANTAGUA NORMA.AFF 21" is a touchscreen display designed as a central user interface for the NORMA navigation light control and alarm system. It enables precise monitoring and control of up to 48 navigation lights, whether LED or filament, with compatibility for power ratings ranging from 0.5W to 65W (40W max at 24VDC for LEDs and 65W max at 230VAC for filaments). This panel integrates into a modular architecture, requiring pairing with the NORMA.CPU and NORMA.PWR units for full functionality. The NORMA.CPU manages the control and monitoring of 8 lights, while the NORMA.PWR provides robust power management from two distinct sources, with automatic or manual switching and associated alarms.
Advanced features for safety and customization
This control panel features integrated software enabling advanced customization of the interface. Users can import vessel silhouettes, create specific control buttons, and configure status indicators for optimal ergonomics. The system includes detection functions for critical anomalies such as filament failure, short circuits, power supply failures, and fuse faults. For LED lights, it also provides hourly counting and a lifespan alarm. The NORMA.AFF 21" offers a day/night mode for visibility adapted to lighting conditions and includes serial connections for integration with other onboard systems such as AMS (Alarm Monitoring System) and VDR (Voyage Data Recorder), via Modbus RTU and IEC61162-1 protocols. A BAM (Bridge Alert Management) option is also available for NORMA.AFF displays, enhancing compliance with IMO MSC302(87) standards.
Robust design and system integration
From a mechanical standpoint, the NORMA.AFF 21" has dimensions of 552 x 347 x 65 mm and weighs 6.1 kg, designed for flush mounting. Its front panel has an IP65 protection rating, ensuring resistance to water and dust, essential for marine environments. It operates on 24 VDC power with a consumption of 1.7A, managed by the NORMA.CPU. The system is certified by Bureau Veritas and compliant with IEC 60092-504, IMO Resolution MSC.253(83), IEC 62923-1, IEC 62923-2, and IEC 61162-1 standards, attesting to its reliability and compliance with international maritime requirements. This MANTAGUA solution represents a strategic choice for vessels requiring sophisticated and certified management of their navigation lights, offering a high-performance alternative to more basic systems or competing solutions that do not provide the same level of customization and modular integration for large fleets of lights.
