The Mastervolt CombiMaster 12/2000-60 charger inverter is a compact, lightweight all-in-one solution designed for 12 V electrical systems requiring reliable 230 V power. Ideally suited for medium-sized installations, it offers an optimal balance compared to the higher-end 12/3000-100 model while delivering industrial-grade performance without voltage drops. Its native integration with MasterBus, CZone, and NMEA 2000 networks enables centralized monitoring and control from compatible displays (SmartRemote, EasyView 5, Touch 5, or third-party multifunction screens).
Pure sine wave conversion performance
In inverter mode, the CombiMaster 12/2000-60 delivers a pure sine wave 230 V output with a continuous power of 2000 VA (1600 W) at 40 °C. Built to start the most demanding loads, it handles a peak power of 3000 VA for 30 seconds and up to 4000 VA for 5 seconds. Its maximum efficiency reaches 93 %, with standby power consumption reduced to 10 W in energy-saving mode. The exclusive Power Assist function automatically compensates for weak external AC sources (shore power or generator) by drawing from the batteries to prevent circuit breaker tripping.
Smart charging and ultra-fast transfer
The integrated battery charger provides a maximum current of 60 A at 14.25 V. It uses a 3-stage+ charging algorithm compatible with lead-acid, Gel, AGM, and lithium-ion (LiFePO4) battery banks, for a recommended capacity between 180 and 500 Ah. Charging is continuously optimized via the included temperature sensor. The automatic AC transfer system switches in just 10 milliseconds between the external grid (limited to 25 A input) and the inverter, ensuring uninterrupted power on the 33 A AC output.
Robust and secure design
Weighing only 6.9 kg with dimensions of 371 x 284 x 155 mm, this model installs easily in a vertical orientation (IP23 protection rating). It features multiple internal protections: overheating, overload, short circuit, and abnormal battery voltage. The Power Sharing mode allows limiting consumption on the AC input based on the shore power circuit breaker rating, ensuring smooth and secure energy management aboard.
