Hybrid Analog and Digital Display
The Raymarine i60 Wind display is a specialized navigation instrument designed to provide sailors with clear and accurate wind data. As part of the i-Series instrument range, it serves as the direct successor to the renowned ST60 series, offering a modernized aesthetic that harmonizes perfectly with the i50 displays (speed and depth) and the brand's multifunction displays. It distinguishes itself from 100% digital displays like the i70s by combining a large analog dial with an LCD screen. The needle provides a visual and instantaneous reading of wind angle, particularly appreciated in sailing for quick reactions to gusts. The lower LCD screen provides precise digital data: apparent and true wind speed and direction, as well as the VMG (Velocity Made Good) function and the layline for the next tack. True wind calculation requires integration of boat speed data on the network. Red backlighting ensures excellent night readability without affecting night vision.
Network Integration and Marine Design
Featuring dual connectivity, the i60 display integrates natively into SeaTalk NG (NMEA2000 compatible) networks and remains backward compatible with the older SeaTalk 1 protocol. It can function as a master display, directly connected to a wind transducer (such as the Rotavecta or long/short arm E22078 models), or as a repeater displaying data from another network sensor. Designed for demanding outdoor environments, it benefits from IPX6 waterproofing and extremely low power consumption (less than 1W), ideal for preserving the battery banks of sailboats.
