The Scanstrut DS16-P-BLK is a watertight bulkhead pass-through designed for vertical cable and connector routing on boat decks. Part of Scanstrut’s "Seal / Vertical" family, this black composite model provides a reliable solution to maintain structural integrity and watertightness of your vessel. It accommodates cables with a diameter of 2 to 8 mm and connectors up to 16 mm in diameter.
Design and Technical Specifications
Made from durable composite, the DS16-P-BLK bulkhead pass-through is resistant to demanding marine environments. Key dimensions include a base of Ø39 mm (A), a connector pass-through diameter of Ø16 mm (B), a mounting center-to-center spacing of Ø36.5 mm (C), and a height of 19 mm (D). The supplied gasket fits cables with a diameter between 2 and 8 mm (E). The kit includes four interchangeable bungs covering diameters of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 mm, plus a solid bung for precise customization or replacement.

Installation and Marine Reliability
Installation of the Scanstrut DS16-P-BLK is simplified with the included components: housing, base, gasket, three No. 4X16 self-tapping screws, and three M3X10 bolts. A Ø16 mm hole is required for connector pass-through, and the kit requires a Pozidriv screwdriver and marine-grade silicone for optimal watertightness. The bungs can be precisely drilled to the cable diameter, with the recommendation to freeze them before drilling for clean cuts. This design ensures durable protection against water and weather, essential for the longevity of onboard electronic systems.
