Manufactured by Scanstrut, a leader in marine mounting solutions, the SC-SL-01-BLK is specifically engineered to withstand demanding marine environments. Its wedge design ensures stable and durable tilt. It integrates seamlessly with various existing Scanstrut mounting systems, such as the DPT-R, DPT-R-COMP, DPT-OA series, as well as the SC103 and SC104 masts, offering installation flexibility for different types of vessels and configurations. This adaptability positions the SC-SL-01-BLK as an essential complement for professional installations, unlike universal mounts without angle correction.

Installation and cable routing

The SC-SL-01-BLK mounting bracket comes with detailed mounting accessories to facilitate installation. Starlink cable routing is provided through an 8.5mm diameter plug, but the system also allows for wider passage for multiple cables if needed. Installation requires 32mm (1 1/4”) and 8.5mm (21/64”) diameter holes. M8 or M10 fasteners for the mounting surface are not included, allowing the choice of hardware suitable for the deck or mast material. The kit includes a foam gasket, a DS30 shell, two DS30 plugs, four M4 x 10 bolts, six M8 x 16 hex head screws, four M8 x 25 hex head screws, four M8 Nyloc nuts, four M8 nut caps, ten M8 nylon shoulder washers, four M8 nylon washers, four 1/4" stainless steel washers, and four 1/4" x 5/8" cheesehead screws.
