Detailed description
Detailed description
The Tallysman TW3972 triple-band GNSS antenna, offered by Pixel sur Mer, is designed for demanding maritime and terrestrial applications requiring high positioning accuracy. Featuring Accutenna® technology, this antenna ensures extended coverage of GNSS constellations, including GPS L1/L2/L5, GLONASS G1/G2/G3, BeiDou B1/B2/B2a, Galileo E1/E5a+b, NavIC L5, as well as L-band correction services and SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, GAGAN). It is particularly suited for triple-frequency RTK and PPP receivers.
Technical performance and robustness
The TW3972 stands out for its dual-stacked patch architecture with dual circular feed, precisely tuned. Signals from the two orthogonal feeds are combined and amplified by a wideband LNA, then narrowly filtered for each band before recombination. This design ensures superior multipath signal rejection, linear phase response, and very low phase center variation (PCV). The LNA preamplifier features very low noise (< 2.5 dB typ.) and high gain (37 dB typ.), optimizing the signal-to-noise ratio. A robust pre-filter is integrated to attenuate interference from LTE and cellular bands, including Ligado.
