Detailed description
The NRX-300 extends the controls of a compatible JL Audio radio via NMEA 2000. The datasheet for part number 010-01628-06 confirms compatibility with A60 and A60-H radios; the presence of an NMEA 2000 port does not guarantee compatibility with other car stereos.
Controls and data
The 2.6-inch monochrome LCD screen is optically linked. The remote can control up to four zones, depending on the connected radio. The repeater mode displays supported NMEA 2000 data from sensors on the same network: including wind, depth, speed, heading, and position.
Power and installation
The manual specifies 10.8 to 16 V DC, 110 mA at 12 V, an LEN of 3 (150 mA), IPX7 protection, operation from 0 to 50 °C, and storage from -20 to 70 °C. Assign the remote to a compatible radio in SETTINGS > STEREO. The manufacturer’s datasheet lists the remote, mounting gasket, four screws, two screw covers, one NMEA 2000 T-connector, and documentation in the box.
