Designed for marine and mobile environments, the Victron Energy Inverter 12/3000 Smart provides reliable AC power from a 12V DC source. This pure sine wave inverter is a dedicated solution for efficiently converting direct current from your batteries into stable alternating current, essential for sensitive electronic equipment and household appliances on board.
Electrical Performance and Reliability
The 12/3000 Smart model delivers a continuous output power of 3000 VA (2400W) at 25°C and can handle a peak power of 6000W, allowing the startup of inductive loads such as power tools or LED lamp converters. Its maximum efficiency reaches 93%. The device operates with a DC input voltage of 9.3 to 17V and generates an AC output voltage of 230 VAC ±2%, configurable at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The full-bridge topology with toroidal transformer ensures proven reliability and high surge capacity. Integrated protections cover output short circuits, overloads, high or low battery voltages, overheating, AC voltage presence at the output, and high DC ripple.
Smart Connectivity and Advanced Configuration
The Inverter 12/3000 Smart includes Bluetooth for simplified configuration and monitoring via the VictronConnect app on a smartphone or tablet. This feature allows adjustment of parameters such as low battery voltage alarm levels, cut-off thresholds, output voltage and frequency, as well as ECO mode settings. A VE.Direct communication port is also available for connection to a computer via a VE.Direct to USB interface cable, or to a GX monitoring device like the Cerbo GX, offering complete system management. A remote on/off function and a programmable relay for alarms or generator start/stop complete its capabilities.
ECO Mode and Positioning in the Victron Range
The integrated ECO mode reduces energy consumption by putting the inverter in standby when the load drops below a predefined value, with automatic reactivation when the load increases.
