The Humminbird SH-D23 dual-frequency transducer is designed for optimal 2D sonar performance, specifically for the SOLIX, ONIX, and ION multifunction display series. This "stick-on" transducer enables internal installation in single-layer fiberglass hulls without the need to drill the boat.

Advanced Sonar Performance

Operating on two primary frequencies, 200 kHz and 83 kHz, the SH-D23 transducer uses DualBeam PLUS technology for detailed bottom and water column analysis. The 200 kHz frequency provides a narrow 20-degree cone angle, ideal for greater depth capability and precise returns. For broader coverage, the 83 kHz frequency offers a 60-degree cone angle. It includes an integrated temperature sensor for accurate water temperature readings.

Simplified Installation and Compatibility

This method preserves hull integrity and simplifies the installation process. The transducer is compatible with all Humminbird SOLIX and ONIX models. For ION series units, a separate sonar module is required. It is important to note that this transducer is dedicated to 2D sonar applications and does not support Side Imaging or Down Imaging features autonomously.
