Collection: Safety & Beacons

Being located: the only priority when everything else stops. When your onboard electronics fail or you're in the water, these beacons are your last link to rescue. We only stock proven brands (McMurdo, Ocean Signal, Kannad) whose activation mechanisms are shock-resistant and withstand prolonged immersion.

• EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon): The boat's beacon. Registered with the international Cospas-Sarsat registry (406 MHz), it alerts rescue centers via satellite. Essential for offshore navigation.

• PLB (Personal Locator Beacon): The skipper's beacon. Compact, it is worn on the life jacket. It uses the same satellite network as the EPIRB but is attached to a person.

• AIS-MOB (Man Over Board): The proximity beacon. It emits an AIS signal that is directly displayed on the screens of nearby vessels (and yours). It is the fastest tool for a crew to locate a man overboard.
