The infused multi-keel cruiser by Pierre Rolland

The Django 7.70 is a 7.70 m sailboat designed by Pierre Rolland for the Marée Haute shipyard (Serge Calvez), launched in April 2010. Fractional sloop, infused fiberglass/polyester hull, Category A design with unsinkability. Voted Sailboat of the Year 2011, one year after its launch.

Specifications

  • Hull length: 7.70 m (8.00 m overall with added skirt in later design)
  • Beam: 2.95 m
  • 3 keel versions: full keel, twin-keel (draft 1.20 m), lifting keel
  • Infused fiberglass/polyester construction
  • Category A + unsinkability

Program

Coastal and offshore cruising. The twin-keel version (the most common variant) allows beaching. The hull with progressive chine and low displacement via infusion enables offshore passages while remaining manageable with a reduced crew. Over 110 units built by late 2024.
