The first multihull fully designed by VPLP

Ocean Fifty trimaran launched in September 2020 at Persico Marine, in Nembro (Italy). First multihull fully developed by VPLP Design using their own structural calculation tools. Launched for Fabrice Cahierc under the name Planet Warriors, then Ciela Village, the boat was taken over by Erwan Le Roux and renamed Koesio for the Transat Jacques Vabre 2021.

K-shaped hull and long cockpit

The platform is based on two K-shaped beams with a rear beam extended to the mast foot. The cockpit, installed along the length of the central hull, is almost twice as long as on other boats in the fleet and fully sheltered. The structural work results in a weight of 3,200 kg, making it the lightest platform in the Ocean Fifty class.
