Redman (ex-Maat, hull number #161) is a 12.19 m Class 40 monohull designed by Sam Manuard and built by JPS Production in La Trinité-sur-Mer. Launched in September 2020, it is a Mach 40.4 — a scow design that has established itself in the class thanks to its power and speed potential.

Redman achieved immediate success with Antoine Carpentier as skipper, winning the Transat Jacques Vabre 2021 in Class 40 in 21 days 22 hours 33 minutes over 4,600 nautical miles. This victory confirmed the potential of the Mach 40.4 design and the crew's expertise.

Antoine Carpentier is an experienced French Class 40 skipper who has helmed Redman since 2020. His victory at the Transat Jacques Vabre 2021 marked one of the highlights of his offshore racing career.
