Detailed description
The B&G Triton² 000-14957-003 pack provides an integrated solution for measuring essential navigation data, including color displays, a multifunction sensor, and a wireless wind sensor.
Triton² Displays
The two 4.1-inch color Triton² displays included in this pack offer clear and customizable visualization of navigation data, ensuring optimal readability in various lighting conditions.
DST820 Multifunction Sensor
The DST820 sensor is a PSTI-compliant evolution equipped with a Gen2 impeller for precise speed measurement. It provides responsive readings from 0.3 knots with linear accuracy from 0.6 knots up to 45 knots. The sensor also measures depth from 0.5 m (1.6 ft) to 100 m (330 ft) and water temperature with ±0.5°C accuracy.
The DST820 integrates an attitude sensor providing heel and trim data, enabling heel-compensated speed calibration. Secure Bluetooth® connectivity via the Airmar CAST™ app offers advanced calibration tools, including multi-angle heel compensation and up to 10 speed calibrations. Speed data output is 5.7 Hz (5 times per second), while depth updates once per second and attitude 10 times per second. The sensor operates on 9 to 16 V DC via NMEA 2000, with power consumption under 200 mA and an NMEA 2000 LEN of 2. The DST820 complies with IEC 60945.
WS320 Wireless Wind Sensor
The WS320 wireless wind sensor provides apparent wind data with 0.1° angle resolution and ±0.5° accuracy. Its speed measurement range spans 0.25 to 50 m/sec (0.5 to 97 knots) with ±0.1 m/sec (±0.2 kt) accuracy from 1 to 40 m/sec. Powered by solar energy, it transmits apparent wind data at 5 Hz.
The WS320 is waterproof (IPx6 and IPx7) and operates in a temperature range from -25°C to 65°C. The associated Bluetooth base station, also IPx7 certified, connects to the Micro-C network, consumes 1.2 W (less than 100 mA at 12 V DC), and has an NMEA 2000 LEN of 2. Its wireless range is 30 meters (98 ft). The WS320 complies with CE (RED 2014/53/EU), FCC Part 15, and Industry Canada standards.
