Detailed description
Detailed description
The B&G Triton² autopilot control head is a remote keypad designed to provide complete and intuitive control over B&G autopilot systems. When paired with a Triton² instrument display (sold separately), it forms a complete autopilot control head, incorporating B&G's intelligent sailing capabilities. Installation is simplified by a single NMEA 2000 network connection that provides both power and data transfer.
Intuitive autopilot control
The control panel features a seven-button keypad designed for reliable operation in all weather conditions, even with wet or gloved hands. Dedicated "Auto" and "Standby" buttons allow for one-touch engagement and disengagement of the autopilot. Port and starboard buttons allow for course adjustments in 1° or 10° increments, providing precise control of the sailboat's trajectory.
B&G sailing navigation features
Integrated with a B&G navigation system, this control panel unlocks advanced features. Intelligent Sail Steering allows you to steer by compass or automatically maintain a true or apparent wind angle for optimal performance. The "Smart Manoeuvre" function performs a tack or gybe at the touch of a button, an invaluable aid for shorthanded sailing. The control panel integrates seamlessly with B&G chartplotters for tracking waypoints and routes.
