Detailed description
Detailed description
The BEP 721 battery selector is a robust switch designed for battery management in marine environments and recreational vehicles. With a continuous capacity of 350A and a peak of 1500A at startup, it is perfectly suited for large diesel engines and demanding electrical systems. This selector offers 4 positions (Off, 1, 1+2, 2) to manage two battery banks, providing total flexibility for load distribution and charging sources.
Robust design for marine use
The BEP 721 stands out for its robust design, including self-cleaning sliding contacts that ensure reliability and increased longevity. It is flame-resistant, making it safe for installation in engine compartments. Its tinned copper M10 (3/8 inch) terminals provide a reliable connection and optimal conductivity. Unlike more compact models such as the BEP 710 (300A continuous), the 721 offers an additional safety margin for the most demanding installations.
Optimized installation and safety
This selector is designed for flexible installation, with removable side panels and a rear cover insulating the terminals against short circuits. It can be surface-mounted or flush-mounted. For maximum safety, the switch can be locked with a padlock, completely isolating the electrical circuit. Its modular design allows easy integration with other distribution products in the BEP range.
