Detailed description
The BEP intelligent triple-engine battery hub (reference 80-716-0031-00) is a centralized management system designed specifically for vessels equipped with three propulsion engines. Combining battery switching, emergency paralleling, and monitoring in a single IPX7-certified enclosure, it replaces traditional mechanical switch clusters. Capable of handling continuous currents of 300 A, intermittent loads of 700 A, and startup peaks reaching 1450 A, it automatically adapts to 12 V or 24 V battery banks.
CZone and NMEA2000 integration
Unlike standard switches from the brand, this hub natively communicates over NMEA2000 and CZone networks via a Micro-C port. It includes an internal precision shunt to monitor voltage, service current, and overall state of charge (SoC). Supplied with a temperature sensor, it optimizes data transmission while maintaining extremely low power consumption, measured at less than 5 mA in standby mode and 92 mA at maximum operation.
Safety and overcurrent warnings
The system integrates bidirectional voltage-sensitive switches (VSS) to automate priority charging while retaining a physical backup mechanical control for each channel. Warning: In accordance with technical bulletin 197381 issued by Navico Group, this specific model is subject to a report regarding an overcurrent issue. It is therefore classified as obsolete material in our catalog and is intended exclusively for replacement in existing installations.
