Designed to integrate wireless load data, the Micro Gateway CYCLOPS BG07 is a compact NMEA 2000 gateway. It enables transmission of Cyclops Marine sensor data directly to onboard electronics, providing an alternative to using a mobile app for real-time load data visualization.
Integration and Compatibility
The Micro Gateway CYCLOPS BG07 wirelessly links with Cyclops Smarttune and Smartlink sensors. It supports up to 30 wireless sensors simultaneously for comprehensive load monitoring. This gateway is compatible with a range of marine displays from brands such as Garmin, B&G, NKE, Sailmon, and Yacht Devices, ensuring seamless integration into existing navigation systems.
Design and Technical Specifications
Measuring 9.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm and weighing 37g, the Micro Gateway CYCLOPS BG07 is over 65% smaller and 70% lighter than the original Cyclops gateway. Its IP67 waterproof rating makes it suitable for installation on or below deck in demanding marine environments. It operates on a nominal 12V supply with a current draw of 80mA.
Connectivity includes NMEA 2000 (Micro-C connector) and Bluetooth, with an SMA female connector. It features an internal antenna, and an optional dome whip antenna is available for extended range or for vessels with carbon fiber hulls. An LED indicates operating mode: flashing red for active mode and flashing green for configuration mode. Installation is plug-and-play on an NMEA 2000 network, and configuration is performed via the Cyclops iOS app or a web interface.
