Connectivity is direct via the Smart Fittings Manager smartphone app (iOS and Android), allowing live load display and session data recording. For full integration with marine navigation systems, the sensor can connect via an optional gateway, offering compatibility with brands such as B&G, Sailmon, Garmin, nke, Yacht Devices, Expedition Marine, Raymarine, A+T, and Actisense.

The sensor body is made from Al6082-T6 aluminum with an acetal housing, ensuring resistance to marine conditions. Its waterproofing exceeds IP67 standards. The smarttoggle is equipped with a 0.925Wh lithium polymer battery, providing up to 2,000 hours of battery life in general use mode (1 Hz), 8,000 hours in extended use mode (0.25 Hz), and up to 500 days in standby mode.
