Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed to structure and extend your marine communication infrastructure, the CZone NMEA 2000 network T-connector is an essential component for any NMEA 2000 system. It provides individual connection of each electronic device to the backbone (main bus) of the network, a topology required for NMEA 2000 compliance, which prohibits direct daisy-chaining of equipment.
NMEA 2000 Integration and Compatibility
This connector is NMEA 2000-certified, ensuring full compatibility with all devices compliant with this standard, regardless of brand—CZone, B&G, Garmin, Raymarine, or others. It uses standard micro NMEA 2000 cables and connectors, simplifying network deployment. The NMEA 2000 backbone to which the T-connector connects requires a 12V DC power supply to operate. While multi-way CZone connectors such as the 80-911-0047-00 (2-way) or 80-911-0048-00 (4-way) allow centralization of multiple connections, this T-connector offers the flexibility to distribute each device in a decentralized manner, optimizing space management and network modularity.
Robust Design for Marine Environments
CZone modules, including this T-connector, are specifically designed to withstand demanding marine environments. This robust design ensures reliable performance and durability in harsh conditions. The T-connector enables plug-and-play connectivity, allowing simple and rapid integration of various marine electronic devices. It is essential for network expansion, which can support up to 50 devices on a single backbone without requiring a bridge, and enables sharing of monitoring functions with compatible displays. The CZone NMEA 2000 network T-connector is the cornerstone of a stable and scalable NMEA 2000 installation.
