External battery controller E60/E163 for MPPT solar charging

Designed for solar charge optimization, the ePropulsion MPPT external battery controller (SKU: EE-0000-00) is a dedicated solution for LiFePO4 batteries in the E60 and E163 series. It ensures efficient management of solar energy for ePropulsion electric propulsion systems.

MPPT Technology and Compatibility

This 1600 W controller integrates MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology to continuously optimize the power output from solar panels, delivering efficiency above 99%. Its primary compatibility covers ePropulsion E60 (3072 Wh / 60 Ah) and E163 (8345 Wh / 163 Ah) batteries, with which it communicates via CAN for intelligent charging based on the battery's state of charge (SOC). It is also compatible with E80 and E175 batteries, though charging then occurs solely based on voltage, without CAN communication.

Technical Specifications

The controller operates with a nominal voltage of 51.2 V and a charge voltage range of 41.6 V to 57.6 V. It provides a maximum DC charge current of 30 A. The device weighs 2.3 kg.
