eLite 500 W electric outboard motor, 378 Wh integrated battery, 43-55 cm long shaft

Designed for small boats, kayaks, tenders and dinghies, the ePropulsion eLite 500 W electric outboard motor (reference EL-0500-L0) with a long shaft offers a compact and silent propulsion solution. Featuring an integrated 378 Wh lithium-ion battery, this motor eliminates the need for external fuel tanks or cables, simplifying transport and installation. Weighing 7.3 kg (without mounting bracket), it is easy to handle.

Performance and power

The eLite 500 W delivers a nominal power output of 500 W, equivalent to approximately 1.5 HP for a combustion engine, and can reach a peak power of 750 W in Sport mode for temporary acceleration lasting up to one minute. The nominal rotation speed range is 1450 to 1800 rpm.

Design and ergonomics

This electric outboard motor weighs 7.3 kg (without mounting bracket) or 8.5 kg (with long-shaft bracket), making it easy to transport. Its dimensions are 297 mm in length, 75 mm in width and 1040 mm in height without the mounting bracket. The eLite 500 W features an adjustable long shaft with a range of 432.5 to 551 mm (measured from the top of the propeller to the transom) to suit different transom heights. The tiller handle is adjustable and foldable, doubling as a carry handle. It also offers multiple tilt settings, including a shallow-water mode at 36° and an upright storage position at 75°, as well as trim settings at 8°, 17° and 26°. The steering angle is ±70°. The mounting system allows for quick one-click installation and removal. The motor has an IP67 waterproof rating and comes with a carry bag.

Battery and charging

The integrated 378 Wh lithium-ion battery has a nominal voltage of 25.2 Vdc and a capacity of 15 Ah and is non-removable. An AC charger (100-240V, 50/60Hz, 4.0A output at 29.4V) is included, allowing a full recharge in approximately 4 hours. The motor also features a USB-C output for charging small electronic devices. The operating temperature range for the motor is -5 to 55 °C, and the storage temperature range is -20 to 45 °C. The charger operates between 0 and 40 °C and can be stored between -20 and 85 °C.

Features and safety

The motor is equipped with an integrated display that shows real-time power usage, battery level and remaining range. Sport mode is activated by double-pressing the power button. For safety, a magnetic kill switch is included to stop the motor in an emergency or if it falls over. The power button also allows you to check the battery level (quick press with the motor off), turn the motor on/off (long press 2s), and toggle the display between power consumption and battery level (single press with the motor on).
