Anti-cavitation plate in aluminium for Navy 3.0 Evo

Designed to optimize the performance of ePropulsion outboard motors, the ePropulsion N6-AP00-00 aluminium anti-cavitation plate is a propulsion accessory. Made from high-strength aluminium alloy, it provides corrosion resistance in marine environments. Its weight is 0.37 kg. This component is compatible with ePropulsion Navy 3.0, Navy 6.0 and Navy 3.0 Evo models. It is not compatible with the Navy 6.0 Evo.

Cavitation reduction and thrust improvement

The primary function of this plate is to smooth the water flow over the motor’s lower unit, thereby reducing cavitation. This phenomenon, characterized by the formation of vaporized air bubbles, decreases propeller thrust and impairs boat handling. By minimizing cavitation, the plate ensures cleaner water flow, which improves effective thrust and stabilizes boat handling. It also prevents the propeller from drawing in air, ensuring optimal propulsion performance.

Use in shallow immersion

Its design allows for shallow immersion of the motor while maintaining efficient propulsion, thus offering greater flexibility for different types of navigation where depth is limited or variable.
