Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for interior and exterior marine lighting, the flexible Garmin ECLIPSE SNL100 light strip provides continuous, seamless illumination, mimicking neon aesthetics. This 2.5-meter model emits blue light and is optimized for 12V electrical systems, with a voltage range of 10 to 15V DC. With 60 LEDs per meter, it ensures uniform light diffusion.
Electrical Integration and Performance
Each meter of the Garmin ECLIPSE SNL100 consumes approximately 5 watts under typical use and up to a maximum of 0.5 amperes. Its fully encapsulated and potted design, combined with a seamless diffuser, delivers robustness suited to marine environments. It is rated IP68, providing complete protection against dust and temporary immersion, though not designed for permanent submersion. UV-resistant materials ensure longevity even under direct sunlight, though installation away from intense direct sunlight is recommended.
Flexibility and Installation
The flexible design allows adaptation to curved surfaces with a minimum bending radius of 120 mm on the vertical axis. It must not be bent on the horizontal axis or twisted. The "cut-to-length" design offers high adaptability: it can be cut every 25 mm and sealed using the supplied silicone kit, enabling precise length customization. Installation is performed using stainless steel screw clips, to be fixed every 300 mm, with additional clips for tight curves. This single-color blue model differs from the bicolor or RGB versions in the ECLIPSE SNL100 range due to its simplified 2-wire installation, requiring only a direct on/off switch, unlike RGB models which need an ECLIPSE Command Center for operation and control via MFD or smart device.
