Detailed description
Detailed description
The Garmin GNX™ 52 wired sail pack is a complete, integrated solution for equipping your sailboat with a high-performance multifunction display. Unlike entry-level packs such as the GNX 42, this pack includes a GND™ 10 data bridge box, essential for bridging a Nexus® network (gWind™ wind sensors) and an NMEA 2000® network. Unlike a standalone GNX 52 display, this pack provides native compatibility with advanced sailing instruments and navigation software such as Expedition® or Adrena®.
A pack designed for wind sensor integration
The core of this pack is the GND™ 10, a data gateway that connects high-end wind sensors, such as the gWind Race™, to your boat's NMEA 2000 network. Thanks to its USB connectivity, you can fine-tune these sensors using NexusRace™ software and use their precise data in racing programs. The GNX 52 display features a 5.2-inch high-visibility solar screen for clear visualization of navigation, wind, and performance data.
Installation and connectivity: [GNX™ 52 wired sail pack]
The pack is designed for simplified installation on sailboats equipped with Nexus sensors. The GND™ 10 is mounted in a weather-protected location and connects directly to the NMEA 2000 network via an included bypass cable. The GNX 52 display integrates into the same network. The kit includes the USB cable required for configuration and Nexus connection cables. Note that for systems with more than one gWind sensor, a separate power supply on the Nexus terminals is required.
